Junior Archaeologist
Katzie Development Limited Partnership is seeking a causal, on call Junior Archaeologists and Field Technicians to assist with archaeological fieldwork on a large systematic data recovery program within a significant archaeological site.
Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. The candidate must be a team player with a flexible attitude and the ability to prioritize workload, multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Integrity, professionalism and excellent communication skills are essential.
Requirements:
Possess an undergraduate degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field. Candidates pursuing a degree in archaeology and have completed either a field school or field methods and lab courses are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Assist in archaeological fieldwork

Assist with artifact cataloguing

Assist with archaeological reporting and data entry

Assist with Junior Katzie Technician jobs as needed

Any tasks assigned by the KDLP management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 40-50 per week
Salary: From $26.00 per hour
